Everything Bagel Salad
This Everything Bagel Salad is such a fun, hearty and delicious salad that's perfect for any meal! This salad has all components of your favorite bagel-based breakfast (smoked salmon, cream cheese, bagel chips, cucumber, red onion, AND cherry tomato!) and is topped with a healthy and homemade Everything Bagel Ranch AND Everything Bagel Seasoning. This pescatarian salad is one everyone in your family will ask for again and again.
I actually got the idea to make an Everything Bagel Salad from the new Everything Chopped Salad kit that's now out from Taylor Farms. I loved the delicious chopped kit, including the Everything Ranch AND bagel chips but my salad takes it to an entirely different level with more fresh and unique bagel-inspired ingredients. It's not exactly a copycat recipe but is inspired by the kit I enjoyed!
This salad is literally a flavor explosion that I know you will love!

Ingredients:
Here's what you'll need to make my Everything Bagel Salad!
- Romaine Hearts: I like to have a crunchy base for this salad! Hearts of romaine is the perfect way to get that and is still filled with nutrients. You can use whatever lettuce makes you happy though including baby spinach or arugula.
- Smoked Salmon: One of the yummiest additions to bagels is smoked salmon. Look for cold-smoked salmon that retains the silky texture of raw salmon. If you'd like to make a vegetarian instead of pescatarian Everything Bagel Salad you can easily leave it off. This salad is very hearty even without it.
- Bagel Chips or Mini Bagel Toasts: I love using crunchy bagel chips for this salad! You can find them with the chips or crackers in your grocery store or order these Everything Bagel Chips online.
- Red Onion: A crisp red onion pairs perfectly with the smoked salmon and gives the salad some hearty dimension.
- Cucumber: Cool cucumber slices are the perfect addition to this salad. I like to use a seedless cucumber or English cucumber.
- Cherry Tomatoes: I add cherry tomatoes to the salad for vitamins and color!
- Cream Cheese: A dollop of cream cheese to give the salad that familiar cream cheese bagel flavoring.
- Everything Ranch Dressing: You can't go wrong with my homemade Everything Bagel Ranch Dressing. Mine is made with greek yogurt! If you don't want to make your own, you can buy it here.
- Everything Bagel Seasoning: Everything Bagel Seasoning is the perfect blend of garlic, onion, poppy seeds, and sesame seeds. It's the same spices on your favorite everything bagel. It became famous from the Trader Joe's Everything But the Bagel Seasoning but is now widely made by other brands. You can make your own with my DIY Everything Bagel Seasoning or buy it here.
Directions:

I don't know if this is helpful, but I love this recipe with homemade bagel chips: https://www.bonappetit.com/story/homemade-bagel-chips It just dials everything up to fully gourmet, depending on who you're feeding. For me, I buy very little packaged food, so making the chips homemade makes this recipe more artisanal. LOVE this recipe, btw! Super fun to serve to in-laws, at women's luncheons etc.
