Wishing You the Merriest Christmas

Hi everyone,

How it it already Christmas weekend?  I feel like it’s cliche to say, but I can’t help myself.  This entire year has gone by in a blink, but this past month feels like I’ve been moving at warp speed.  Despite the feeling like time is flying, I’ve had a pleasant and calm week.  I actually followed some of my own advice in this post and have had my holiday shopping pretty much done since before Thanksgiving and I even ordered my Christmas card early this year.  I haven’t missed at all that sense of panic I normally get this week.  I’ve been able to get some work done (I have some great things planned for 2018 blog wise!) and I’ve also met up with a few girlfriends to celebrate the holidays.  After a packed holiday party weekend last weekend, I’ve also been able to slow down a bit in the evenings which has been really delightful.

I’d like to thank you for continuing to supporting me with the parade of sponsored posts in the past two weeks.  These posts allow me to post Running in a Skirt for free for you, so thank you for looking at them and considering supporting the companies who help me!  It was not my intention to have so many of them back to back, but with the end of the year coming fast that’s what happened.  I try to make sure all of my posts have value to you guys, so I hope you’ve enjoyed them.

Catch up here….

I wanted to drop in today to not only thank you for the past few weeks, but for your support this entire year.  I appreciate you reading my little corner of the internet so much.  You guys are amazing and I consider each of friends!  Since I can’t mail out Christmas cards to the entire list (I wish I could!), I thought I’d share with you my holiday card this year.

That photo is from our time in Zermatt, Switzerland this summer.

I sincerely wish y’all the merriest of Christmas.  I hope this upcoming weekend is packed with things you love and reminders of the true meaning of the season.

Have a blessed weekend everyone.  I’m taking some time off to enjoy the holiday, but will see you back here with a holiday weekend recap next Wednesday.  I’ll also be sharing my top posts of the year to close out 2017, so be sure to check back even in the holiday chaos.

See you next week!

Love, Julie
