Hi everyone and Happy Fashion Friday!
I don't know about you, but I LOVE a good deal when it comes to clothes. I grew up going to the mall on the weekends with my Mom (and sometimes my Grandmother, Bea) searching for a deal. My Mom made a sport out of it and I loved it. I remember one time stumbling on a Nine West clearance center digging for matching tall black boots. We had a lot of fun with our shopping adventures.
As I grew older, I found other hobbies that brought more joy to my life (hello running and blogging!) and I rarely find myself in a shopping mall these days. It's also obviously not near as much fun by myself.
To stay up to date, I'll pop into local stores or shop online. It's just rarely a whole day event anymore.
Despite my pull away from the day long shopping quests, I still LOVE a good deal. It's in my blood. And this dress is the best deal I've found in awhile. It's BCBG and I got it for $14.99 at Ross. Score! I went in there needing something for the house and I was drawn to the dress rack. Old habits die hard, my friends!
I know for sure that my Mom is smiling down on me for finding this one!
I have monkey arms, so I don't always gravitate to dresses with fancy kimono sleeves, but these fit just right. I love the boho inspired pattern in the dress and the slim profile. I also liked that it is slightly fitted at the bottom balancing out the sleeves.
For the accessories, I piled on my new pink tassel necklace (also seen HERE) and my Na Hoko pink pearl heart. I also added my pink gem bracelet, but pushed it high on my arm for added interest.
The finished look was perfect for Evelyn's baptism a few weeks ago.
Have a beautiful weekend everyone! Sending you lot's of love for a wunderful weekend doing what you love... whether it's shopping, running or something in between.
