Fashion Friday – Plaid Shirts & Puffy Vests

Happy Fashion Friday!

When I was at the Biltmore Gardens the other day with Marilyn she said I just happened to be wearing the quintessential fall outfit and needed to make Fashion Friday.  Who I am I to argue with my bestie, so we snapped a few pictures of the look.

I got back home and decided I totally agreed with her.  This outfit totally screams fall!

Now you guys know I’m not much of a jeans girl, but when I do go that route, I reach for these dark slimming jeans.  I know faded jeans are making a resurgence but I feel the dark kinds are more universally flattering.

I layered this look with a long neutral tank, my favorite purple flannel shirt from last year and a white puffer vest.

I topped the look off with my end of season Ralph Lauren splurge boots.

You know guys… with views like this and fun layered outfits… fall is really growing on me this year.

Welcome to my uniform (sometimes there is a substitution of a thermal for the plaid). This is what I wear for about 3 months straight!

Hello, this surely looks like a great Falling for Fall outfit! And, like Blane, I hope to see some pics of you all “gussied up” as some old southerners would say. Plaids always make me think of fall and winter activities. Keep on rockin’ the looks!
