Updating Your Spring Wardrobe with Florals

Hi friends!  Happy Fashion Friday!

Now that we are in full blown spring, I’m looking to update my wardrobe for the season with a few floral pieces.  Floral prints are huge right now, especially ones that look like a water color painting.  I picked out a few of my favorites for you guys!

Shirt

Bisou Bisou Pleated Cutout-Back Tank Top • Bisou Bisou • $14.99

 Skirts

Shorter…

Alythea Floral-Print Skater Skirt • Alythea • $49

Longer…

Lauren Ralph Lauren Floral-Print Georgette Skirt • Lauren Ralph Lauren • $38.50

Dresses

I adore summer dresses and I can’t wait to get some floral ones for the year!

Betsey Johnson Floral Print Cotton Fit & Flare Dress • Betsey Johnson • $96

Factory flared dress in floral • J.Crew Factory • $78

Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren Floral-Print Cutout Dress • Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren • $98

Shoes

Kind of impractical, but I still want them!

Steve Madden ‘Stecy’ Sandal • Steve Madden • $79.95

I’d probably wear these all the time!

Women’s Sam & Libby Chelsea Bow Flat – Assorted Colors • Sam & Libby • $10.48–34.99

The trick with pulling off any of these looks is to go simple with the rest of your outfit.  Floral prints can be overwhelming to wear, so you want to make sure your statement piece shines and everything else is less busy.

I’m going to have to decide which ones are my absolute favorites, because I can’t buy everything. Decisions. Decisions!

On a side note, my ankle is feeling better and I was able to do the elliptical yesterday without trouble.  Hoping to try a little running today.  Yay!

Happy Shopping, friends!  I hope you have an amazing weekend.

Thanks for stopping by today for some of my favorite spring pieces, Monday I’m sharing more fabulousness with a new Things I’m Loving Lately.

Thanks to Nicole for the Fit and Fashionable linkup! And thank you to Jo-Lynne Shane for the Fashion Friday linkup.

Your turn!

Are you adding any new clothes to your spring wardrobe?
