Happy Thanksgiving Y’all!

Happy Thanksgiving Y’all!

Hi beautiful friends!

I just wanted to drop in today to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

My attempt at a “selfie” family portrait… complete with tripod and remote 🙂  I think both the boys were annoyed. haha!

Thanksgiving Picture-8-1

I’m such a fan of this holiday because it focuses on family, FOOD and being thankful for our many blessings in life.  It’s a chance to sit back (or in my case happily stand and cook :-)!) and enjoy this gorgeous thing called life.

Take time and enjoy the little things this weekend.  Savor your meal, eat way too much (including real butter!) and really enjoy your family or loved ones.  Blessings come in many forms, but I’m sure we all have plenty surrounding us this year.

I’m thankful for all of you.  Thanks for reading Running in a Skirt and making it a part of your life.  Thank you for being a part of this community and helping make my dreams come true.

You guys are at the top of my blessings list.

Happy Thanksgiving y’all!  I’ll catch you on the flip side Monday morning.

Don’t forget Monday will be the first Best of the Blogs linkup party.  You can linkup a Top Posts of the Month post OR one of your favorite or most viewed posts of November.  If you are busy over the weekend, it should be an easy post for you to get together Monday!  That gives you more time to put together a Thanksgiving weekend wrap up too 🙂

Your turn!

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Super cute picture! I am hoping we can capture a good one since it’s Claire’s first Thanksgiving but I can already see it being a big photo fail.

thankful for you giving us a small glimpse into your life…that is a MUCH better portrait than we get…thankful for my boys, the opportunity and challenge God has called me to to be a preteen leader and teach fifth grade boys on Sunday morning…this is an interesting time for them…

Indeed….thankfulness is something we should experience daily. Giving thanks to God above for this beautiful life we have been given. Let’s remember He has also given to us the opportunity to live in the greatest nation in the world where we are free. Thanks to the veterans and military who fight to keep us free. Thanks for family, friends and as evidenced in your family photo….thanks for the critters in our lives. Hope everyone gets to enjoy this Thanksgiving holiday exactly as they would like…..blessings to all.
