Hi everyone! How are we one week in November? I feel like are just in a whirlwind until after the holidays at this point.
Halloween was really fun this year. We are in the sweet spot of them being big enough to enjoy these holidays, but not so big we aren't cool to hang out with. We did all of our Halloween traditions, starting with carving pumpkins. The twins and Daddy picked out the designs this year and they did most of the work scooping the seeds.

Here's what they picked out! And notice the adorable flamingo the twins insisted on doing for me. 🙂

Halloween kicked off with the book character dress-up day. They picked the two donkeys from Waiting for the Bibbliburro.

For Halloween night, we did another family costume. I let the twins pick this year on whether they wanted to do family or their own, and some ideas for the family costume to pick from. They LOVED the idea of being puppies, so this is what we ended up with. I was so happy with how it turned out.
And I got a photo with everyone, including the dog, looking at the camera.
I love that they still chose to do this as well. 🙂

And here's our trick-or-treating crew. We love doing this with our neighbors every year.

It was such a fun night for the kids, and they are still talking about it and enjoying the way too much candy we got.

That's it for this week. We are so excited that the boy's grandma is coming to visit this weekend! The boy's birthday is also coming up in a week, so it's been a fun time.
I hope everyone had a lovely Halloween, too.
