Currently… (March 2016)

Hi Everyone!  I hope you all had an amazing weekend.

As we’re heading into March it’s time to take another look at life beyond the blog!

Currently I’m…

Southern Living! I somehow ended up with a lapse in my subscription and I was so sad.  I missed several months, but I’m so glad this little joy is back in my life.

Oh how I adore this song.  And Tim McGraw.

I can’t decide which line I like better from the song—>

“Don’t expect a free ride from no one.  Don’t hold a grudge, a chip and here’s why… bitterness keeps you from flying… always stay humble and kind.”

“Don’t take for granted the love this life gives you, when you get where you going don’t forget turn back around. Help the next one in line… always stay humble and kind.”

Need a Monday morning pick-me-up? Listen to this!

Fuller House!  It’s even better than I dreamed.  I honestly can’t remember the last time I enjoyed something this much on TV.

I really enjoy good, clean cheesy humor on the tube.

Running skirts! It was so warm last week that I not only did all my runs outside, but I wore skirts.

Julie Running in a Skirt

Spring.  I love the joy of Easter, fresh buds on plants and little pale green leaves.  It was in the 70’s both Friday and Saturday in Asheville and it was kind of like a sneak peak at the new season.

I’m also dreaming of the tulips at the Biltmore.  This is what they looked like last year.  Can you blame me?

I wanted to go into the Biltmore Saturday to see the early daffodil and crocus blooms, but the traffic was INSANE to get on the property.  I’m hoping to go back one morning this week bring you some pictures for the blog Wednesday.  I can only assume a weekday morning would be less crowded!

Peanut Butter and Jelly Overnight Oats.  Kind of stoked about this recipe coming up tomorrow πŸ™‚  Here’s a little sneak peak….

Healthy Peanut Butter and Jelly Overnight Oats recipe with chia seeds!-- Your all time favorite sandwhich in a healthy, easy and delicous breakfast package!

La Croix lime. Yum…..

OMG. This ice cream is amazing.  I’m such a sucker for these Publix Limited Edition ice creams.

For sweet Isabella.  She is doing so well, all considering.

I’m praying for her and also asking for guidance on how I can help her in coming years.

Julie and Isabella

Have a beautiful Monday everyone!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Come back tomorrow for that Peanut Butter and Jelly Overnight Oats recipe. Did I mention, I’m kind of excited about this one?

I’m linking up with Marvelous Monday!

Your turn!

What are you “Currently…?”  Answer one of the above prompts.

The recipes in Southern Living always look so good! πŸ˜€ I scored some free issues a couple years ago that are chillin’ in WV right now, but I definitely plan to make cool things with em’ at some point!

    Tulips are so pretty! :]

What great lyrics to that song! Love it! Always enjoy your posts. Currently, I’m enjoying this warmer weather and looking forward to doing more walking and hiking in the near future!

  4. I do love running skirts! I loved that I got to wear one at my half on Sunday!

LaCroix is my favorite. I drink a can on my drive home from work. It’s almost like a cocktail!

It’s crazy the way they taste so good without anything in them, huh? I try not to think about it! haha

  5. I watched a few episodes of fuller house. I was expecting more I think a little disappointed. Sparkling water yes!

It got better as the season went on– they found their groove a bit later.

Awe Tim McGraw sometimes I just love me some country!!!
Oh I loved Fuller House I thought each episode got better and better. I was thrilled when I heard they are already filming season 2, because I loved it that much, you just don’t see good fun yet appropriate for any audience TV anymore. I loved that they are still keeping it for the most part clean with good messages behind each episode!.. That and I plowed through all the episodes in a week, LOL Gotta love great television! I am sure a network is kicking themselves for not picking this idea up before Netflix did!
Your such an awesome Godmother, that gal is lucky to have you!!!

    • JulieWunder March 20, 2016 at 8:31 am - Reply

I totally agree. It got even better as it went on.. it’s like they found a groove. I tried to stretch it out as long as possible, but still finished in a week.

Isabella is SO lucky to have you as her Godmother. I knw you will be such a light in her life and provide her with so much. The weather this weekend was awesome! We had a blast outside and getting fresh air! Does wonders for us, I swear. Currently listening to a country Pandora station on the computer.. It’s your love is playing! (Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, I think?)

Humble and Kind. That sounds like a really good song. I’m so thankful that Jesus was our precious amazing perfect example of humility. It’s something I struggle with everyday.

It’s always a struggle! Such good words to live by though!

I am also really enjoying fuller house. Still cheesy, but that’s dine by me. That icecream would go perfect while watching an episode. Sounds so good. Will have to look for that kind.

It’s worth it! I also got the strawberry shortcake one later this week. Also dreamy.

Happy Monday Julie! What a wonderful blog today! I am currently anticipating Easter Sunday and singing in our Easter cantata! I love the fresh newness that spring and Easter bring, a chance to “start over” again and to remember what the day stands for: a risen Savior and LORD!

    • JulieWunder March 20, 2016 at 8:23 am - Reply

Thanks you Lisa! Spring and Easter is such a special time!

Julie, praying for Isabella is the most important gift you can give. Trust God to guide you in teaching her about Him. Grace, love, mercy abound when we know Him. Giving her a relationship with Him will be the gift that will guide her throughout her life.

    • JulieWunder March 20, 2016 at 8:22 am - Reply

Thank you so much for the wonderful advice. That means so much.

Currently about to listen to Lauren Alaina and Blake Shelton. Love their new songs! I am so excited for the color and vibrancy of spring as well. Here in Chicago, they kind of go around and “plant” it, so I will be curious what happens this year when it is so much warmer than in years past!
Isabella is lucky to have you–you are an OUTSTANDING role model

    • JulieWunder March 20, 2016 at 8:21 am - Reply

I really love that song too. I didn’t realize it was Lauren Alaina singing it with him– she sounds great. Thank you!!
