Hi guys! It's been an eventful week with the boys going back to school and starting 2nd grade! I'm always sad when summer is over, but it has hit me especially hard this year because our summer was so magical and the boys are feeling so big now. They had a good first week and were both happy to reconnect with their friends.
Just for fun, check out their first day of 2-year-old preschool, the first day of 3-year-old preschool, and the first day of Pre-K. Plus their first day of kindergarten and first grade. It feels like it all happened in the blink of an eye.
They are so big this year.

We are grateful to be back in school, though, and our really sweet school community.

The sign says that they love baseball, creating things, Legos, friends, fishing, and golf.

Jackson said he wanted to be an architect, and Hunter insisted that he had no idea. 🙂

Such big boys!

Here they are getting ready to go with their new backpacks this year.

They are in their favorite colors, red and green. 🙂

I miss those boys dearly, and it really does feel like you leave a part of yourself at the school! I am looking forward to a bit of routine and diving back into my work too.
That's all for this week! I'll be posting more regular weekly happenings now that we are back in our routine.
