Hi everyone! We just wrapped up our last week of summer vacation, and school starts on Monday. I can't believe how fast it has flown by. It has truly been a summer to remember for us. I want to share a few fun things we've done over the last few weeks with you today.
One of the other highlights of the summer was getting a few special visitors. First up was my Dad and Margaret. We played outside, at the pool, and they took the boys to their first real movie, which was a hoot.
We were also so happy that one of my oldest friends came to visit us for a weekend with her little girl. It had been several years since they had come, and it was wonderful to see her.
We took them to Jeter Mountain Farm and picked flowers and peaches, which is one of our favorite things to do all year.
The kids had so much fun and it was so wonderful to see them all together again.
And the peaches were downright delicious.
Here's my crew!
Another highlight of recent weeks was having a playdate with our neighbors at the Fairy Trail. The trial and gardens had been damaged my Helene, so much of it was new and rebuilt.
It was even better than ever, with even more interactive things for the kids. It's such a sweet thing they put on, and my kids adore it.
Plus, anytime my boys can throw rocks in a body of water, they are happy.
We have had so many big and little moments this summer worth remembering. I'm going into the fall season and school year with a full heart. I'm going to miss my buddies dearly when they go off to school!
That's all for this week. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Keep us in your prayers for the start of school on Monday.
