Hi everyone! I'm continuing my series today, sharing photos from our June trip to Japan. I started our epic adventure with our days in Tokyo, the world's largest city. So make sure to start there.
Today, I'm picking up the story with our 2 days at Tokyo Disneyland, which included visiting Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. We were also able to stay at the Tokyo Disneyland hotel, which was so fun. I debated whether to make Tokyo Disney part of our trip since we can do it in Orlando, but after a lot of thought and seeing the really cheap ticket and hotel prices, we decided to go. Growing up in Orlando, I'm a Disney fan, and I'm so glad I got to see the Disney magic in another country. I highly recommend going here if you can.
I will be posting more travel guide-style posts in the coming weeks, which will have tips and tricks to go and plan your trip. But for today, I just wanted to share our family photos with you.
We started our time at Disney Sea, which is an ocean-themed park that is unique to Japan. It's HUGE and a bit daunting!
We started our day at the Little Mermaid themed land, complete with an adorable ride, kind of like Dumbo, but with Little Mermaid cars.
We loved it and all of the cute ocean theming here.
This area had a really cool indoor area that was supposed to be under the sea. It was gorgeous. The theming at this park was incredible.

We loved these passion fruit popsicles! So much fun!
This park is also home to an incredible Frozen themed land, which was gorgeous.
And we loved this ocean sculpture and nautical Mickey.
We were able to check into our hotel before dinner. And WOW. We had the most incredible view of the Tokyo Disneyland castle. It was amazing. The conversion rate made this room not that crazy expensive.
On day 2, we went to Tokyo Disneyland, which turned out to be my favorite park there because it reminded me of the Magic Kingdom of my childhood.
We got early access for staying in the hotel, and raced to the Beauty and the Beast ride, which was pure magic.
This was my favorite Disney ride, ever.

We just loved seeing the park together, and both boys had the most fun.
For the first time, they were both interested in riding a real rollercoaster, and they did Thunder Mountain twice and Splash Mountain. They loved it.

I'm not a huge fan of coasters anymore, but I could not resist.

We had such a magical day, and I really enjoyed seeing the way a different culture still found the Disney magic.
This was another favorite ride!
And we also saw the Stitch show, but it was in Japanese.
And we ran into these guys too.
Plus, here are the famous mochi!
I found the park not that crazy and pretty relaxing, more so than DisneySea, which was really crowded.
It was such a fun day, and a perfect way to break up seeing all of the more traditional Japanese things for the kids.
Our last ride was Winnie the Pooh.
We stayed until dark, and it was so fun.
And here are a few shots at the hotel before we left the next morning. I'm so glad we got to do all of this!
Tokyo Disneyland was such a great addition to our trip. We just loved it, and I found joy in seeing how the Disney magic transcends culture. For as serious as the Japanese people are, they LOVED Disney. It was pretty cool to see.
