Hi everyone! How is it the middle of July? Summer, please slow down! We all have been enjoying this season so much! Even Makena loves having the boys home.
And our entire street has been loving playing with the new boxer puppy our neighbor just got. This photo was too cute not to share.
As this is being published, we are still on our cruise to Maine and Canada. It's been a fun, family-filled week, and I'll have photos when we get back.

With our trip to Boston and the 4th of July, I'm excited to read "A Founding Mother," which is the novel of Abigail Adams, wife of John Adams. The book follows a woman who fearlessly spoke her mind, which was crazy for the time. She also worked for women's independence. It tells the story of the war-torn streets of America to her husband's presidency.

I'm loving this new Miranda Lambert song.

Not much TV, which has been so nice!! Instead we've been on lots of adventures like when we got to go out on a boat on Hilton Head.
Even Makena got to come!

My old hair dryer had seen its better days, and I upgraded to this Shark SpeedStyle Pro and LOVE it! It's a bit of a splurge, but not as much as the Dyson products, and it works great. I love that it is also small for travel.

Summer has been full speed and so much fun! I'm looking forward to a bit slower pace at the end of the summer, with more time at the beach.
