We are back from a gorgeous and warm week in Cap Cana, near Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. We were planning to go to Negril, Jamaica, in January, but since our resort sustained damage from the recent hurricane, we decided to change our plans and return to the same place we stayed last year. After a crazy holiday season, it was just the relaxing, no-pressure, no-obligations break that we all needed. We just love the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. Make sure to check out our trip from last year, too. I can't believe how much the boys have grown in a year.
I am updating my review of the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, including new photos in the coming weeks, but for now, I wanted to share some of our favorite photos and memories from the trip.
I'll kick things off with my favorite family photo of the trip!
The beach was so beautiful, and the boys loved spending a lot of time there.
We were able to use the boats and play in the water.
And of course, they still played in the sand.
We had an especially good time this year because the boys made so many friends! There were so many lovely families and kids there, about the same age, and they all had so much fun together jumping between the beach, pool, and water park.

I was in my element. I love going somewhere warm in January as it feeds my soul to make it through winter.
We also enjoyed the lovely pools.
And these two with the palm trees just made me smile. And yes, Hunter basically went the week without shoes. 🙂
And in honor of our swimming with manta rays last year in Hawaii, this year's floats are manta rays.
We also got to get dressed up for delicious dinners nightly.
And I got some one-on-one time with each boy.
Plus, proof Daddy was there too.
I just love spending time with my family, and we are all in our element here!
It was such a lovely week, and I'm so grateful we got to go.
