Hi everyone! It's been a fun week, some end-of-the-year school stuff, and a quick trip to Hilton Head for Memorial Day weekend.
The boy's school has had some fun end-of-the-year activities, including a carnival-like event for the kids. They got to perform two songs, and it was so incredibly sweet.
They also have an official Kindergarten graduation coming up soon, and I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by. The boys have learned so much and have grown so much this year. I am so incredibly grateful to their teachers for working so hard with them, and so proud of the boys doing well. It was hard for them at times, especially with missing so much school, but they have finished strong, and I could not be more proud. I'm so grateful for our little school community.
We also had a sitter one night and got to go downtown for a date night. We stopped at the rooftop bay at the Chemist, which was adorable.
They have such pretty drinks too!
It's another spot we loved and you have to check out. We are trying to get downtown as much as possible to help the businesses that are still struggling post-Helene. More and more keep closing.
And finally, we took a last-minute trip to Hilton Head this weekend, and it was so good for us all. My beach boys got to play in the surf and sand.
And Hunter made his first beach pillow of the season.
We also took them to our favorite restaurant, Charlie's.
And we had a sunset dinner at Benny Hudson's. Such a wonderful time!
I'm so happy summer is finally here, and we are counting down the days until the end of school. I hope everyone had a nice week, too.
Love, Julie
