Hi everyone! We had so much fun on Hilton Head for Thanksgiving last year that we decided to do it again. With the boys being in school, we don't have as many chances to get away during the year, so this was a perfect break for us.
Look who met us there! We kicked our weekend off with dinner at the Salty Dog with Dad and Margaret.

On Wednesday, we decided to do something we hadn't done before. We took the ferry to see Daufuskie Island, which is right across the harbor from Hilton Head. It's an island that you can only reach by boat, but it has houses and a few restaurants.

It was so nice for the adventure!

The boys loved the boat ride!

And so did Dad and Margaret.

When we got there, we rented golf carts to explore the island and took a tour of the history, wate,r and different spots. It was super interesting!

Once we got back, it was just warm enough for a few hours at the beach.

On Thanksgiving morning, we kicked it off by going to Harbour Town and doing the Sea Pines Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt again.

We were so close to winning again, but didn't! Maybe next year! This was the turkey we made this year.

We then got dressed up for Thanksgiving!

We had Thanksgiving dinner with Dad and Margaret at a club in Hilton Head, and it was perfect.

We spent the rest of the weekend switching gears to Christmas. We started by seeing our favorite local kids' singer at Coligny.

Then Santa arrived on a helicopter and took the boy's wishes.

So cute!!

And we also got to go to dinner at the lighthouse and see the Greg Russell show.

And saw an amazing sunset.

I loved spending Thanksgiving at Hilton Head and doing our family traditions there. We have so many wonderful memories from the island.

I'm so grateful we got to do this! I can't believe it's full-on holiday mode now! Our elf is back, and the Christmas decorations are out.
This Thanksgiving, I'm also grateful for you! I appreciate y'all following my journey for so many years and supporting this small business that allows me to work part-time and also take care of my boys. Your support means the world to me!
