Hi everyone! September started full steam ahead with school, baseball, and scouts. The calendar is full, but I'm so grateful that we get to do all these things with the twins. It truly is a gift, and I try to appreciate the crazy!
We started baseball games again last night, and both boys scored runs! I'm so proud of them.

Like so many people, I've been feeling the loss of Dolly Parton. With my Mom's family from Eastern Tennessee, I grew up listening to her and just loved everything she stood for. I wanted to feel a bit more connected, so I'm diving into her autobiography Star of the Show: My Life on Stage.
Listening...
I just heard this new one, and if you need a pick-me-up... It's here with Darius Rucker. I'm such a big fan of his, and this.
Watching...
I watched The Devil Wears Prada 2 last weekend and OMG. It was so good. Such a reminder of a time that felt so different from now. It's def worth a watch for the clothes alone. Swoonworthy!
We have also had the best time watching a new puppy! Our neighbors just got a new puppy, Sarge, and we can't get enough.

Buying...
I got these adorable air-dry clay kits for the boys for the restaurnt busy bag, and they have been a HUGE hit. Each little container has 4 types of clay and instructions to make a little animal. Their favorite thing in a long time!
We have also been buying all the dirt at the Elijah Gem Mine because we clearly want to strike gold. 🙂
Wearing...
I hardly ever wear heels anymore, but I found these low heels and really liked them! Sam Edelman is my go-to shoe brand for ones that are nice, well-made, and actually comfortable. I'm too old to mess with uncomfortable shoes. 🙂
Eating...
This Air Fryer Cod has been on repeat in our house. If you want to easily add more fish to your menu, try it!
Drinking & Indulging...
We had some special visitors the other week, and we took them to my favorite place, The Tiki Bar. 🙂
We have also been drinking all the homemade lemonade. Can summer last forever!?
Anticipating...
I'm already feeling like we are going to blink and all the holidays will be here! I just ordered Halloween costumes, and I'm working on the boys' birthday already.
Praying...
Praying for the country on the anniversary of 9/11. I can't believe it's been 25 years. I had just started working at a TV station in Macon, Georgia, and the main anchor was on vacation and couldn't get back because of the ground stop. I ended up anchoring the main news that night, which will always be one of the most profound experiences of my life. Like so many of us, I can't believe it's been so long. Sending out love and prayers to anyone who had loved ones there that day.
