Hi everyone! It's been a fabulous whirlwind start to the summer, and I can't wait to catch y'all up on everything that we have done. We spent 2 weeks in Japan in June, and it was downright magical. We loved the country and feel so lucky to have gotten to go and share such an amazing experience with the boys. I will have lots of posts and photos on the trip coming up soon, but with the boys home for summer, I'm a bit behind.
We were back in Asheville for a little over a week before we went back out to celebrate the 4th of July in our favorite place, Hilton Head! We brought Makena with us this time!
Our first stop was Skull Creek Boat House.
One fun new thing for us was that the boys have been asking to play golf, so we took them to the driving range to start trying to hit! They absolutely loved it.
We also went to Coligny to see our favorite local performer, Jevon Daly.
He's so funny and legit entertains everyone for 2 hours. We love it.
It was so special to be on the island for the big 4th of July Celebration.
We got to watch the fireworks from a dock, and it was incredible.
The boys had so much fun, and we all enjoyed a bit of Americana after being out of the country for a month.
