Hi everyone! We had a whirlwind of a weekend with a soccer game, scout camping trip, and birthday party all in one weekend. It was busy and a bit chaotic, but so fun. The boys have been having a great time with their new activities and making some good friends. We are so grateful.
The highlight of the week was the boys going on their first camping trip. No big surprise, but they absolutely loved it. The campsite was close, so I spent the day with them and came home to sleep. I'm not much of a camper and don't sleep well. I'm so glad they got to go though.
We had so much fun during the day, including going out on a canoe.
The boys also got to fish, which they have been loving.

The other highlight of the weekend was going gem mining for one of the boy's friends' birthday parties.
They had so much fun! And it was the perfect ending to our epic weekend.

The boys had an early release, so I took them to have some fun.
We have a four-day weekend, with fall break this weekend, and I'm grateful for a few slow mornings for everyone. I think we all need a little break from the hustle of this new school year.
