Skinny Peppermint White Hot Chocolate

I’m normally not one to drink my calories, but my love peppermint flavored everything runs deep during the Christmas season. My Skinny Peppermint White Hot Chocolate will have you singing carols all season long.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups milk or milk substitute
  • 6 oz white chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract

Instructions
 

  • Warm milk on medium heat. You want it very hot but not boiling.
  • Remove milk from heat and stir in white chocolate chips until they are blended well.
  • Stir in peppermint extract.
  • Serve piping hot!

Notes

For the lowest calorie count use 30 calorie per serving unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Using almond milk and one cup servings (6), this drink is 170 calories per serving. Also I tested the recipe with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, so if you use a milk without that vanilla flavor, you can add 1-2 drops of natural vanilla extract.
