- 5 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk *
- 1 15 ounce can pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie mix
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons pumpkin pie seasoning
- ¼ cup maple syrup**
- pinch salt, optional
- 1 ½ cups steel cut oats
Add the milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, pumpkin pie seasoning and optional salt to a large crock pot. Mix until well combined. Then add the steel cut oats and mix again.
Cook on low for 7 hours or high for 3 ½ -4 hours.
Serve with pecan, cranberries, coconut or chocolate chips as toppings!
*You can use different types of milk or even replace a cup or two with water.
**This amount of maple syrup does not make it super sweet, so adjust to your own personal taste.
