  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.  For easy cleanup, line the pan with foil.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic powder.  Toss in the broccoli florets and coat them well.
  • Pour the broccoli florets into the baking pan getting as much sauce on the broccoli as possible.
  • Roast the broccoli for 15-20 minutes or until it's fork-tender.
  • Plate the broccoli and sprinkle the top with sesame seeds.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Storage and Leftovers
Store any leftovers in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.  Reheat in the microwave for 30-second increments until warm or reheat in the oven at 350 degrees until warm.  I do not recommend freezing this recipe as the broccoli will get soggy after dethawing.
 
Make Ahead
Yes, You can mix the sauce and broccoli ahead of time, and when you are ready to cook it just put it on a sheet pan.
