My Strawberry Basil Smoothie is packed with sweet red berries, lightly floral basil and tangy yogurt. It is finished wit a handful of iron packed spinach!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 cup spinach about 1 handful
  • 3 big basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • optional garnish: fresh strawberry and additional basil

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in the blender and blend away! Serve with a fresh strawberry garnish and a basil sprig.

Recipe Notes

If you use o% yogurt and 30 calorie milk this smoothie will have approximately 230 calories. You can sub stevia for the honey for fewer calories.
